Website SSL Certificates

If you have a company or business website then you really should have an SSL Certificate.

Why do I need an SSL Certificate?

If your website does not have an SSL Certificate then when new visitors searching for the goods and services visit your website for the first time then they will see the following:-

Not a good start for any potential client looking for a new supplier.

When a visitor then clicks on the red “Not secure” warning further information will be displayed as displayed below.-

So what is an SSL Certificate?

A website SSL Certificate (Secure Sockets Layer) is a digital file that verifies a website’s identity and enables an encrypted, secure connection (HTTPS) between a user’s browser and the web server, protecting data like login details and credit card numbers from hackers. It acts like an online ID and encryption key, showing a padlock icon and “https://” in the address bar, assuring visitors their data transfer is private and the site is legitimate.

As you can see from the red highlight area the website displays a padlock and “https” at the front of the website url.

If a visitor clicks on the padlock then further security information is displayed indicating the website is safe.

Ok so what’s it all cost?

We have a number of hosting packages which include an SSL Certificate, we also believe our price of £40.00 plus VAT is one of the lowest available.
